Exploring themes of kindness, friendship, and self-acceptance, this delightful garden story gently teaches children that our differences should be celebrated.  A perfect bedtime story for children ages 2-10, it is intended to be a read-aloud book that opens a door of discussion for parents to address hard social topics like bullying, being made fun of, and feeling excluded & insecure. Beautifully illustrated by Shehan Konthawardhana, a talented young multimedia artist from Sri Lanka, children young and old will be drawn in by the colorful, engaging artwork, while the story line tenderly encourages them to embrace their own unique beauty.
