 A personal note from me

I’m here not as someone who has mastered all of life’s challenges, but as someone who understands weariness, exhaustion and discouragement. I’ve struggled through seasons where I have been stretched too thin, felt unappreciated, and lost my sense of direction.  There was even a season when I had sunk so low, I wasn’t sure I’d ever find my way back. That’s how I learned that God often does His deepest work in the dark isolation of the cocoon.  Built to Be a Butterfly™ was born out of that soul-wrenching journey. 

My prayer is that as you read, journal, and reflect on what you find here, you will feel less alone, more hopeful, and be gently reminded that your life still holds beauty, purpose, and promise.
